So this is the latest video I directed for Vinh Nguyen. He was the first person I really ever worked with in my history of making Concept Videos, so I wanted to make sure this video will make an impression to the public. I wanted to step up the cinematography; I wanted to step up the special effects; I wanted to make my story telling better. I hope that this video will show how much I have worked to get there. This is by far the longest I have ever worked to date for a single project. Post production was like 35 hrs spent on editing. Usually i’ve been faster at working, but this time it took longer cause I had to make sure the colors were good, and the special effects seemed flawless. Also, there is a thing called “artistic value” and thats how to boost up your cinematography that can capture somebody’s attention just by the way the shot looks (you will see that in this video)
Supplement to the video (this section must be read after you finish watching the video):
The story was based on what Vinh goes through making choreography. He really does imagine dancers doing his choreography, He also imagines what the choreography will look like on stage. So creating this was going to be a challenge. To create that I knew I had to use the Ghost effect, so people can believe that people are seeing Vinh’s thoughts. Also, I wanted the colors to be real when it came to the “reality”. Nothing fancy when it came to dancing in the studio. But once we go inside vinh’s mind, I wanted the color tone to seem fantasy. Where it feels like we are in another dimension. I did that by slighty bringing up the blues, but not crush the colors like the reds. The contrast between Reality and Vinh’s thoughts had to be different, so you can understand that these are two different worlds.
I love seeing performance when people dance, as much it might take alittle off the choreography. I like to showcase the dancers as performers, at the same time keep the integrity of the dance. You will definetly see Vinh’s performance showcased in this video
What really sells the story is when Vinh’s ipod drops on the floor. We zoom right back to reallity and once he plugs back in and presses play, we go back to his mind. I love that scene cause it was one of the first way’s to reveal that the dancing was all in his head. All credits to Vinh for that part of the film. I’m glad that the zoom effect really worked for that interpretation of going in and out of vinh’s head to reality.
Shout out to the Bangerz for great music!
Anyways I hope you guys see the hard work put into the film. I hope you can support me by showing eveyone this video, and show Vinh some love cause he has def came a long way the past year, and his growth as a dancer/choreography has been really inpisiring. GOD BLESS

ill as fuuuuuck.
It never gets any less amazing.
This is my girlfriend. She likes to take pictures, while I’m on the couch watching TV. In the time we have been together, we spend it by watching movies, going out, sleeeping, but mostly eating and it never gets old, and I like spending time with her even if it isn’t anywhere special or if we aren’t doing anything special. I cherish every moment I spend with her. She is the best :]
I really like this song for some reason.
We’re happy, probably the happiest we’ve ever been. If you truly understood, then you’d be happy for us yourselves, too. But if you can’t see that, not even respect it, and almost fail to understand why things are the way they are now.. then I’m really sorry for you. Because this is as real as it gets. He deserves it. Let him have it.
